Terms

The account
PantryNudge is for household food tracking. You need to be able to form a contract where you live. You are responsible for the email address you sign in with and for anyone you invite into a pantry. Creating an account means you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Free and Plus
Adding and editing pantry items, places, barcodes, and the purchase list are free. Recipe imports, video scans, shelf photo scans, calorie lookups, smart recalibrations, and meal prep are free up to a monthly limit. A free pantry is just for you. Plus, which raises those limits and adds web recipe search, diet plans, and sharing a pantry with up to 5 people, is not on sale yet. Billing and refunds will be described here before any charge is taken. Until then, do not send payment for PantryNudge.
Acceptable use
Use the app for your own household. Do not attempt to break into other accounts, overload the service, or upload anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.
Shared pantries
A shared pantry is visible to every member, including item lists, allergies, and diet choices stored on that pantry. The owner manages membership. If the owner deletes their account, the member who joined first becomes the owner and the pantry stays. If the only member deletes their account, the pantry and its contents are deleted. Items you added stay in a shared pantry after you leave, with your name removed.
Not advice, and not a safety guarantee
Diet plans and named diets are meal ideas based on what you told the app. They are not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. Talk to a clinician before changing what you eat for a health condition.
Expiry dates we suggest are estimates from a category. They are not a food-safety guarantee. Check the pack, and do not eat food that looks or smells off.
Allergy filters skip dishes that mention the foods you listed. They can miss an ingredient. Always read the label if an allergy matters.
Liability
The app is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for spoiled food, a missed allergen, a diet choice, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending the account
You can delete your account from Preferences. We can close an account that breaks these terms. The privacy policy describes what is deleted.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest still applies.
